On 19 April 2013 at the initiative of the Israeli Chamber of Commerce established in the Slovak Republic, held a meeting in Warsaw, attended by representatives of the four Israeli Chambers of Commerce – from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria and Polish. The meeting was also attended by a representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce – Industrial.
After the ceremony in front of the Ghetto Heroes Monument commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, held a meeting during which a discussion on the development of trade relations and cooperation with the State of Israel, as well as opportunities for cooperation between chambers. Present representatives of the aforementioned chambers decided to create a platform that would serve the development of relations between the countries of the European Union and the State of Israel. Mr. Miloš Žiak, the initiator of the meeting, was elected the first chairman of the new platform for one year. Participants also agreed that the Executive Committee will be created to which each of the chambers nominate two representatives. Coordination of the work was entrusted to Mr. Andrej Zmeček.
