This honor is a reward you for your intelligence, openness and daily willingness to work together to better understand Polish in Israel – said the ambassador J.Chodorowicz handing the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland Henryk waiter.
President of the Friendship Association awarded the Israel-Poland, Henryk Zvi waiter is a long-term member and Chairman of the Society of Friendship Israel-Poland. Thanks to his personal commitment and the Society organized a number of events promoting Polish culture in Israel, for example. Concerts of contemporary Polish songs and literary evenings. In addition, H.Kelner actively involved in the commemoration of the fate of soldiers of the Polish II Corps in the Holy Land, and the integration of the environment of Polish Jewish immigration to Israel from the 50s twentieth century.
In recognition of the above activities of the President of Poland awarded Henry the waiter Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit by order of July 29, 2015.
The occasion for the solemn ceremony of the Order was organized jointly by the Society of Friendship Israel-Poland and the Polish Embassy in Tel Aviv night of Chanukah.
